Thank you to the Adelaide Botanic Garden for allowing us to use Botanic Park for the recording.
Sadly, 1CC was unable to travel to Europe in April of 2020. This video was one of the projects undertaken to celebrate all the hard work the choir and their families had put into the tour planning and preparation when it disappointingly had to be cancelled with the closure of the international borders in March 2020.
Aurora is proud to present our music video of “The Sun Never Says”. This beautiful song features words by Daniel Ladinsky, to which Dan Forrest wrote a stunning choral score. The poem, short and sweet, reads:
Even
After
All this time
The sun never says to the earth,
“You owe
Me.”
Look
What happens
With a love like that,
It lights the
Whole Sky.
