At Young Adelaide Voices, we want people of all ages to sing! Choirs are good for our brains, bodies, and hearts. Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or a newcomer, our choir offers the perfect blend of foundation music and choral skills development. And we want you to join our Community Choir for the Spring season of 2026 !

Led by YAV’s own Leonie Hemton OAM and accompanist Asja Suljic, you’ll sing a variety of music, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

A little bit of background in music helps, but isn’t crucial. The YAV Community Choir includes people of all ages, with the common theme being a love for music and meeting people, as well as building this glorious community

For this season of YAV Community Choir you’ll attend rehearsals over August, September, and October. You’ll finish the season with a performance at Adelaide Sings, put on by ANCA (Australian National Choral Association) on Sunday 18 October.
