Glenda Lynelle's Choirs

Glenda Lynelle

Glenni has a long association with YAV spanning over 35 years. During this time, Glenni has been a parent, secretary for Choir Council, Conductor of 2CC, 1CC and now currently Junior Choir.

Since retiring from a long and rewarding teaching career in music education at St Andrew’s School in Walkerville, where she created their prestigious music department, Glenni has focused her energies on her favourite subject: ‘all that is choral’: working with the Junior Choir in Young Adelaide Voices and the popular women’s choir – Illumina Voices. Since Covid she has also enjoyed the challenging game of golf – which she refers to as a ‘hit and miss’ affair. If you can’t find Glenni in either of these activities, she will definitely be in her rose and herb garden.

What brings you back every week?
I thrive on the joy and enthusiasm that is shared together as we make music and friends.
